Designed in collaboration with J.Mueser Atelier in New York and wear-tested around the world on planes and trains, through Italian heatwaves and daily routines, this versatile silhouette takes women everywhere with timeless ease.
Each suit is made-to-measure and made-to-order in linen or wool, $2450
Schedule an appointment at the J.Mueser Atelier in Manhattan, East Hampton, or remotely. We will review details, fabrics, and take your measurements. The suit will be made in four to five weeks, followed by a fitting to make any adjustments.We are happy to answer all questions about the process.
The Jacket is relaxed and elegant with a wider lapel and elongated single back vent. The fit is loose but tailored in discreetly feminine ways, with the commanding sensibility of a men’s sport coat. Featuring wide lapels, which are universally flattering, and a lengthy silhouette that falls just below the seat. The long vent helps to avoid creases, and encourages range of movement.
Trousers sit higher on the waist with side adjusters for a streamlined fit (so long, belts!). This unstructured suit will move with you as a graceful and durable uniform to wear regularly.
Packing is simple. Interchange shirts and shoes to streamline travels and occasions. The suit is easily styled with linen shirts, polos, or sweaters for casual days, and tuxedo shirts or silk for evenings.
Fabrics include carefully selected ‘heavy weight’ linen that’s light enough for Italy mid-August and substantial enough to wear from Spring through Fall. It’s made to be worn-in. Perfect for travel, holds its structure and doesn’t require much upkeep.
